About THISS Education

Many children do well in school maths but still find advanced reasoning questions difficult. Selective-style and scholarship-style questions often require more than basic calculation. They require logic, multi-step thinking, pattern recognition, and the ability to apply maths in unfamiliar situations.

That is why our workbooks are designed to help bridge the gap between regular schoolwork and more challenging mathematical reasoning.

Each book gives students the opportunity to practise regularly, learn from their mistakes, and build exam confidence over time.

What Makes Our Workbooks Different

Our workbooks are designed to be simple, practical, and effective for home use.

Each Let’s Master Advanced Maths workbook includes:

  • 10 mini mathematical reasoning tests
  • 10 questions per test (15 questions per test for Year 5 & 6)
  • 100 questions in total (150 questions for Year 5 & 6)
  • Worked solutions
  • Short, manageable practice sessions
  • Year-level books from Year 1 to Year 6

The short-test format makes it easier for children to build a consistent routine without feeling overwhelmed. Instead of cramming at the last minute, students can practise gradually and improve over time.

Who Our Resources Are For

Our workbooks are suitable for students who:

  • Find school maths too easy
  • Need more challenging maths practice
  • Are preparing for OC, Selective School, or Scholarship-style exams
  • Need to strengthen mathematical reasoning
  • Benefit from structured practice at home
  • Want to build confidence before more difficult assessments

They are also helpful for parents who want a clear, affordable way to support their child’s learning without needing to create their own questions or rely solely on tutoring.

Our Goal

Our goal is simple:

To help children become stronger, more confident problem-solvers through consistent and challenging maths practice.

We believe that confidence is built through regular effort, clear explanations, and the chance to learn from mistakes. With the right practice over time, students can develop the skills they need to approach challenging questions with greater confidence.

Why worksheets and workbooks?

We believe there is power in paper-based learning:

  • Writing calculations and working problems out by hand helps students think more deeply than clicking or guessing on a screen.

  • Tackling questions on paper encourages focus, patience, and critical reasoning.

  • Completed worksheets give parents and teachers a clear record of progress and areas to review.

We recommend a balanced approach: combining hands-on, paper-based practice with the benefits of digital learning tools.
